The Scientific Journal of Vibration and Sound (JVS) accepts promotional, research, review, technical, and book reviews in the fields of vibration, acoustics, and related sciences. Our online submission system, which is free of charge, guides you stepwise through the process of entering your article details and uploading your files. An article will be accepted for publication whose full text has not been previously published in any journal and has not been submitted to other journals for publication. The language of the JVS is Farsi, therefore, the submitted articles must be in Farsi. In articles that have several authors, the order of authors' names and rights will be the responsibility of the submitter of the article (the author in charge). The scientific responsibility of each article will be on the author(s). The journal is free to reject or accept, and edit and modify articles.
The author in charge of an article that is derived from university researches must be a member of the academic staff of the relevant university; And regarding non-academic articles, the qualification of the responsible author and the quality of the submitted articles will be reviewed by the editor and members of the editorial board.
Promotional article: It introduces, promotes and expands scientific awareness among the scientific and engineering community in the relevant fields.
Research article: An article derived from the findings of basic research is called a research article.
Review article: It includes evaluation and criticism of articles that have been published in various scientific journals and books in the same field. In this type of articles, the author has proposed and examined the past research works to clarify the current situation of the problem, and expressed the existing connections, contradictions and limitations, and finally presents his suggestions.
Each article should have a title, abstract, keywords, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, sources, and the following principles should be observed in it:
1) The title of the article should be short and descriptive and not exceed 15 words.
2) Each article must have an article specification sheet including the name and surname of the author(s), affiliation, phone number and e-mail. The pdf file of the letter of commitment can be downloaded from this link, and after completion, it can be uploaded along with the original file of the article.
3) The abstract should narrate the content of the article, emphasizing the methods, results, and the importance of using the results, and all of it should be written in one paragraph and a maximum of 15 lines (about 250 words).
4) Key words should be given in 5 to 8 words immediately after the Persian abstract.
5) The introduction should include problem statement, work records and justification of the importance of the research. The objectives of the study should be clearly mentioned at the end of the introduction.
6) Materials and methods, including working tools, statistical design, data creation method and research implementation method should be specified and clearly stated.
7) The results and discussion will include research findings, reasoned discussion (with references) and conclusions. Results and discussion can be compiled together or separately. The figures and tables in the results and discussion should not have similar or repeated information, the data in the table should not be repeated in the form of curves or graphs.
8) If necessary, thanks and gratitude to institutions and people should be given the title "Acknowlegement" before the References.
9) The list of references should be in order of reference number, and according to the Chicago style book. Refrain from referring to sources without a title. The maximum number of references is recommended for a research article of 35, a review article of 55, and a report of 15.
10) The reference used may be a book, article, or any publication. In the case of the book, the name of the author, the title of the book, the publisher, the place of publication, and the year of publication should be mentioned according to the Chicago Manual of Style. To write a source in the Chicago style, you can use the Cite option of Google Scholar, or the MyBib website.

12) In case of acceptance of the article and before publication, the author in charge on behalf of the authors of the article must complete, sign and send the conflict-of-interest form to the editor through the JVS web site.
