The Journal of Vibration and Sound (JVS) has been published by the Iranian Society of Acoustics and Vibration (ISAV) since 2012. JVS is an Open Access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. JVS is a biannual publication which publishes peer review scientific articles, including promotional, research, and review articles in the fields of vibration and acoustics. This journal introduces, promotes, and expands scientific awareness among the scientific and engineering community in the fields of sound and vibration. Therefore, JVS is a suitable place for publishing comprehensive scientific and specialized articles that have a practical and knowledge-disseminating aspect in fields such as: shock and vibration tests, acoustics in architecture, acoustics in music, underwater acoustics, modal analysis, structural dynamics, noise and vibration control, speech signal analysis, and human response to sound and vibration. It should be noted that publishing articles in the Journal of Sound and Vibration is free of charge and authors do not pay any fees for publishing their articles. All the publication costs are covered by the ISAV.
